Wee, I know what you mean! I'm going through the swings too. I do think it's the weather and the shift in daylight. I hope you feel more even soon. I loved this post. So eloquent and well-put. And I am smitten with your monster. He seems sweet and slightly misunderstood. =)

oh the dear little monster weeness. I SO SO SO know how you feel. You put it into words (and monster sketches) so much better than I ever could. Can I borrow your double-stick tape when you're done?

Shall I sew your mood on for you, dearest wee? :)

jingles - 2004-11-17 04:37:23
P.S. Can I give your monster a hug?

I am loving your monster. I want to tickle his tummy and put him in my purse. He could scare people I don't love and make the ones I do love laugh like crazy. I hope you find your mood, sweet wee, but just know we love you in all of them!

oh yes let us say it is the change of seasons - i feel fairly stable emotionally, but utterly unable to focus on work and projects. i would listless if i wasn't contented, i think. i think the monster will help us all. thank you for the lil' guy!

I don't recommend double sided tape. Sometimes it ruins the paint. And, let's be honest, the mood WILL be painted.

what a sweet little monster! I understand the mood thing; I've finally convinced myself it's the weather's fault, for being so dreary and gloomly lately. But it also might be my fault for not getting out and enjoying it in whatever way your are to enjoy dreary weather.

I'm right there with you this week. I think I'll nail my mood on. -p

wee...I just LOVE your monster (and of course, I have raved on and on before, about how talented you are...[head full of jealous thoughts])...and thanks so much for your kind, concerned comments to me in my blog.

Oh my sweet Wee . . you could never have moods--you could wake up every day exactly like you were the day before and like you will be tomorrow with no up and no down but that's no life for you oh wondrous Artist!! Ride it like a rollecoaster baby-- throw your arms up and tilt your head back and let out a primal scream from the bottom of your gut. There. Now didn't that feel better?

wee, do you remember me? i've been keeping up with your diary, even though i moved over to diaryland. i learned how to knit and for some reason, it makes me think of you. i think i want to knit you something. a winter scarf, perhaps?

I don't know that I've ever heard mood swings so vividly and aptly described. There's money in that post! Put passages on cards...or make a little book out of it with drawings. I think every woman I know could relate to that post...
