Now, in response to your question about copyrights, I have answered you in my comments on my page but here it is in case you haven't gone back: Weevil, I think you're fine. Especially if it is a portfolio piece. You might mention "inspired by a vintage photograph, photographer unknown" near the image somewhere. Plus if it is older than 75 years then the original copyright has officially expired, unless it was renewed by an heir or something. Which is doubtful. I would not worry about it. If you were about to sell a hundred thousand t-shirts with that image then I might do a little more research. I wanna see the photo! And your art! I love your art, sweet tart.
