The Universe has dumped into your lap the makings of a very tasty piece of short fiction. Do you mind if I steal that, actually?

breana - 2005-08-27 16:50:59
I love the frozen lady, and I love that you found her and are so attentive to her. We would make EXCELLENT neighbors. This entry was amazingly creative. And it just happened to you. Just like that. I love it.

blackbird - 2005-08-27 16:55:17
I, for one, am jealous.

wee - 2005-08-27 16:57:34
O...gawsh, Breanna. What if it is only happening to me?!! How creepy would that be? What if the Frozen Lady is only trapped in our Teevee?! It's pssoible... I mean, I haven't seen in her any other teevee. Not even in the big one downstairs (this is the tv upstairs in our bedroom (please no comments on how you should not have a tv in your bedroom. I know, I know, I've heard it many times before... but I'd never get to see Jon Stewart otherwise and I must see Jon stewart as often as possible and from a reclining position)... oh, wait. No. Johnny smash has seen her on other teevees. Hmmm. There goes that theory. And Friday... by all means. Thieve away. Just make sure you send me a copy!!

wee - 2005-08-27 17:02:34
blackbird, quick. Check your teevee! Channel 41! Maybe you have a frozen lady too. And therefore, no need to be jealous! :)

Laura - 2005-08-27 22:31:56
Funny funny funny funny.

jenny - 2005-08-28 00:11:14
i've always loved your designs. i cannot wait to see the site when it's all finished. :)

lizardek - 2005-08-28 03:59:44
GOD I MISSED YOU!

violetismycolor - 2005-08-28 22:08:49
First of all, Wee...my husband's name is John, too...though he was raised in Rochester, NY and was always known as Jack till met me. Long story short, we met at work and he was using his 'formal' name at work...so, we dated on and off for about 3 years and when we finally decide the relationship was a keeper, he turned to me and said, "By the way, all my friends call me Jack. You should, too." Yeah, right... I still call him John and freak out all his family and old friends cuz they can't figure out what to call him when I am around. Serves him right! Secondly, I am fascinated with your obsession with the frozen lady. Clearly, Jon Stewart doesn't hold your attention for long enough. How is THAT possible, since he is so sexy and smart and all? Thirdly, don't stay away so long in the future cuz we all miss you so much when you are gone!

katie d - 2005-08-29 08:01:33
i must know the official name of the station the frozen lady is on, because in roughly 45 seconds, i will be compelled to surf out the frozen lady, and as it is sunday, i could conceivably be surfing in vain, which will then disappoint me, which will in turn cause me to lie awake for even longer than usual, pondering the inequities of a universe that prevents me from sharing in the unexplained creepiness of the frozen lady whilst (whilst!) others get to share in the experience. quite unfairly, i might add. in addition, i love the image currently introducing your new website, and i'm glad you finally posted again! :) kd ps. lol on the whilst (whilst!) thing. :)

bluepoppy - 2005-08-29 14:55:44
Darling it's all so clear-- you and the Handsome Guy have been called. Frozen Lady has chosen you both to lead us all in a new religion. We'll all don our pale blue v-neck, sleeveless shirts and follow you, cryogenically, everywhere. The mantra? Freeze it!

Lil - 2005-08-29 15:06:53
I thought you'd gone to your website and was banned from it for some reason and I would no longer have access to your stories and just might have to kill myself because I am really and truly addicted, and here you are with that truly freaky Frozen Lady. Come to think of it, I probably really need a life if I'm so obsessed with yours...

wee - 2005-08-29 15:25:29
I promise I'll issue my new blog address here long before I make the move. also, this particular spot on the net will be here for some months too.

wee - 2005-08-29 15:31:28
First... Violet... Jon Stewart is THAT sexy, the animated blobs on Futurama, however, are not. We were waiting for Jon Stewart to start at the top of the hour and were watching Futurama and the Frozen Lady in the mean. Second... Katie... I can't take credit for the whilst (whilst!) thing. Not entirely anyway. I swapped my obsessive use for of the word "bits" for shared custody of the whilst (whilst!) thing with Otter. It was all very formal and involved complicated rubber stamps and such. And BP, dahling... you are so right. We'll be more famous than Heaven's Gate and their balding and bug-eyed leader. And new tennis shoes will be completely optional. Oh, and the suicide pact thing... we'll have none of that now. Suicide pacts are like so 1997. and lastly Lil... I'm so impressed that you read THE WHOLE THING. wow. And you know, a little scared. but mostly impressed! And my life? Not as interesting as it sounds. Trust me on that front. It's all smoke and mirrors, bad spelling, worse grammar and jupiter-influenced exaggeration. But it's fun, no?! And I'm not disappearing anytime soon... I don't think my full website will be ready until October at the earliest, and even then I will continue blogging. I'll just have a different address. You will be able to continue reading my inane stories and the magical adventures of the Frozen Lady and other ridiculous obsessions there. It'll just be all new and fresh...um, hilarity (?!) I may even take some of my old stories with me... still thinking about that one.

Too wierd, Wee! You've got to give us an update on this, please. Have you guys figured out why the frame is frozen? And is it truly on only one TV in your house? Spoooooky!

wee - 2005-08-29 22:03:20
o no, paula... I meant that I'd only watched it on our bedroom tv, not that it only appears on one tv. But after I posted this, I checked and of course she appears on the downstairs tv too. I haven't seen the frozen lady at all today though. (I only checked twice though) will keep you updated!

Heather - 2005-08-29 23:28:46
I laughed so hard I had a coughing fit. Thanks for making my night with the Frozen Lady. I wish she were on my TV!

LIl - 2005-08-30 11:13:55
August 30, 11:15 and I can't help but wonder if the scary Frozen Lady is still on TV....

karos - 2005-08-30 17:13:03
I can't find a frozen lady. I'm all sad n' stuff. My first thought, too, was she looks like Melanie Griffith. But that wasn't really my first thought, my first thought was "She looks like Melanie Wilson," and then I thought "Oh my fucking god how could I not have noticed that Melanie had the same name as a famous Melanie! All these years I didn't notice that, holy shit..." and I got all thinking, what a moron I am, and then I realized I had the last name wrong...and your actually typing out what I thought, but with the correct last name of Griffith put the universe right again, and then I thought phew, I'm not a moron after all. Much. You know, coming to your site for me is like licking real buttercream frosting off of cupcakes. Thank you.

wee - 2005-08-30 17:23:32
actually, K, there is/was a famous melanie wilson... she was the blonde chickiepoo on Perfect Strangers. I think she was involved with cousin Larry or something. And ack... I haven't seen the frozen lady since Saturday morning. It's all commercials for the Jack Lelane(sp?) super extraction power juicer for $49.99

rhya - 2005-09-01 17:45:31
hahahahhah that is so strange and funny i can barely handle it. cheers rhya

Jess - 2005-09-02 08:45:44
As Jack is from England, surely one day soon you have to call him 'Johnny English' (after the Rowan Atkinson spy spoof movie) :) love xx
