Happy Birthday Wee! It's interesting that so many people of our age group are "ageless" in looks and attitude. Have a wonderful holiday season too!

funny wee...happy birthday, dear funny talented girl! And don't worry about figuring out what you are supposed to be doing with your life, that seems to be a question that can never be answered...or the answer keeps changing. Believe me, I am 48 and the slippery thing keeps just eluding my grasp!

oh darlings! thank you so very much! Birthday was indeed festve and full of cake and I skated by with a minimum of conundrum-ing. Yee-haw. I'm ready for another year!

Happy Birthday! Your picture is so sweet. I had an angel dress very like that when I was 5.

I think the worst part of having a december birthday is having to wait ALL YEAR for presents. Of course, then? you get the mother load. But happy late birthday, wee!

Happy Birdday, little penguin! You know, your hair in that photo looks eerily like mine at that age... and I had loads of night gowns just like yours too. Did you have to sleep with curlers in your hair? Those pink ones that were supposedly "comfortable' because they had sponges inbetween the plastic parts? Ouch. But the curls were undeniably fabulous the next day. I also had the belief that Christmas was somehow related to my birthday because it was tradition to keep the tree up until the day after my birthday. So the tree became part of my personal birthday decoration. Andrew did not quite get this the first year we lived together but he has been converted. As long as the needles are still on the tree, why not? Happy Happy Birthday!

Oh yeah!... my mom was particularly enamoured of the pink sponge rollers and their effect on my hair back in the day! You can't really tell so much from thies picture, but my nightie actually has the words "Daddy's Little Angel" embroidered on it in gold and a pair of little wings attached. Too cool!

*sigh* I missed it. I missed it entirely. I blame this shoddy internet connection. And Christmas cookies. I'm ever so sorry. I hope it was good! Happy Birthday!
