Ooh, could you fly that banner over my house then, since you're taking it down? I scraped a thick layer of frost off the car this morning, while the kids hot-breathed pictures onto the windows of the areas I wasn't furiously shaving off. The strawberry leaves in the garden looked fantastic though, and my 5-feet-tall still-blooming snapdragons all frosted up - oh for a digital that's not obsolete. I'd love a blast of hellaciousness for a few days. I'm not ready for this. Love fall - love it - but it's too short.

We've got unseasonably COOL weather here. I had to shut my windows last night. I was all, "Eh? Fall? Where am I?" I would swap you, but I'm kind of enjoying it.

hahaha that's such a cute post! I love the thought of your omnipotent banner :)

It's about time you remembered to use your powers for good instead of evil.

I find it amusing that 87 degrees is too hellish for Canada! I find it too hot when it gets above 95...it's all in one's perspective, I guess. My daughter is enjoying the really warm upstate NY weather...and I'm hoping that it will stay nice till I go to visit her on Oct 20.

fuskis! :D

O, Diane... it's hellish for October! We get plenty o' 100 degree (farenheit) weather in the summer (in the Niagara Falls/ Greater Toronto Area) and that's normal... but in October?!! It should be in the sevenites (farenheit) and breezy, with no humidity and no smog.... and it's the humidity and the smog that really make it awful. The smog has been really, really bad this week (actually this entire summer has been horrific)... we are told it is all pollution from the US. I think you can have it back, we're done with it. Thank you though. It was eye-searing and suitably lung blackening. :^)

I do love that prancing dog. And the tree.

I love it!

BTW, I really like the banner so it really doesn't matter to me if it is a recycled one...

Since I wasn't around last year, the banner is all new to me. I love it, prancing ham-tongued dogs and all.

I'm a big fan of prancing ANYTHING. Seriously.
