can I sit in your pocket on your next farmer's market adventure? I love your view of things. :) xoxo

We have some great farmer's markets here, too, and I just love them. I want that cherry pie you bought. Can you send me a piece...just a little one...

THAT's the Wee I know and love :)

I love farmers markets too. They bring you back to a time where things were so much simpler (or so it seems with hindsight). We have a tiny organic market near the cottage we go to almost every weekend. I always feel good when I leave, no matter what my mood was going in.

how funny-- all I am interested in right now is organic farming and farmers markets-- i am a wee bit obsessed--- it does feed the soul. i wish you had a picture of the walnut dolls cause I don't know what they are.

I remember once my mom bought a dried apple head doll at some bazaar, it was dressed as a witch and was a Halloween decoration. It freaked me out because each year it got more and more shriveled and wrinkley and it was HER HEAD. We had to throw it away finally. At least walnuts don't do that.

it would seem some explaination of the walnut dolls is necessary here... these crafty creations are nowhere near as charming as an applehead doll. They are basically walnuts decorated with lucky troll hair and googley eyes and expressions like "I'm a golf nut!" on them. You totally know what I mean. And lest you think there are only dolls (maybe they are more like staturary?), there are also fridge magnets for all your nutty fridge magnet needs and little plaques which maybe hung on the wall. Pretty!

As a fellow Torontonian, I would love to find out where the farmer's market is... If you don't mind sharing, feel free to email me directly. Thanks so much!

Oh, my Wee. I needed that. You make me so happy and smiley, it's ridiculous.

Now, what is wrong with the walnut doll; what are you, a doll snob? ;) It's not so hard to write a novel, actually. Finishing the novel, now *that* is hard. :) Glad you had a happy day. kd
