That has got to be the spookiest snowman I've ever seen. I wouldn't want to run into him on my way home, frozen or not.

I bow to your snowvamping powers. That is fantastic. How lovely it is when creatures great and small can pull us out of our comfortable misery. I had that happen today too. Although my Finnegan was my mother, and my snowy woods were the dirty downtown streets tromping through galleries and eating Thai buffet and watching the police drag the river for a dead guy. Ah nevermind - it's not really the same at all is it? As crystal blue persuasion and white flakity-sparkles and a romping four-legged soul. I suspect the way I felt as a result of my own adventure was the same though. I am glad you got snowglobed.

What stunning photographs! And Finnegan makes me think of my beloved, departed Dixie, the best Black Lab there ever was. Thanks for a moment of beauty!

I live in Toronto and it never looks that beautiful here! Our backyard tree was covered in snow similar to your pics last week but our backyard only has one tree so definitely not as nice.

wee - 2005-03-05 16:26:37
Tara... I only wish this was my backyard... they're pictures from a nearby park.
